Judge Remigiusz Orzechowski was born on 21 February 1925 in Zi±bki near Łowicz, and died on 13 August 1993. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Warsaw University in 1952. He was employed in several state administration bodies, including the State Commission for Occupations, the Supreme Chamber of Control, and the Polish Normalisation Committee. He practised as a legal adviser for the Office of the Council of Ministers from 1961. He served as an adviser to the Prime Minister, a deputy director of the Secretariat and director of the Legal Bureau of the Chancellery of the Sejm. He was a member of the Polish Lawyers Association. He was an author of many monographs, studies and articles on different areas of administrative and business law. Remigiusz Orzechowski was a Judge of the Constitutional Tribunal from 1985 to 1993. |
